<br />"-' <br /> <br />f <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES <br />WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 1998, 7:30 P M. <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Wednesday, December 16, 1998, at 7:30 P. M. <br />following the Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals meeting due to Christmas Holiday. <br /> <br />Commission members present were: President Joel Beebe, Vern Kimmel, Andy Pygman, Bill <br />Abbott, Mike Young, John Ehrhart, Charles McGuire, and Town Attorney Tim Currens. <br />Commissioner Tim Bennett was absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Pygman, second by Commissioner Kimmel to approve the <br />November 18, 1998 minutes with a change of spelling and wording of a sentence. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />First on the agenda was the Fritch rezone request for Lot 3E and 3W located on Highway 144. <br />This rezone was tabled from the last meeting. They are requesting a continuance. Motion was <br />made by Commissioner McGuire, second by Commissioner Kimmel to accept the request for a <br />continuance to the January 21, 1999 meeting. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Dave Fairfield addressed the Commission concerning a rezone request for 1.51 acres at Flagstaff <br />Park from R-I to PUD I on behalf of Huntington Bank and American Consulting Engineers. <br />They are wanting to add this 1.51 acres to Block B which is PUD-I now. Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Abbott, second by Commissioner McGuire to recommend to the Town Council to <br />approve the rezone request. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Huntington Bank and American Consulting Engineers presented a revised plat as Minor Plat I <br />because the Tech Committee wanted the 3 plats on 1. Fire Dept. requests hydrants placed every <br />300 feet around the building. Town Attorney Tim Currens said in essence they were amending <br />the PUD. Surveyors report had been added. Plan Commission requested they come back when <br />use designation had been determined for another amendment. Block D, Flagstaff Park is being <br />subdivided into three lots D3, D4, and D5. Two lots are North of Mole x and lot D-5 is south of <br />Molex. Motion was made by Commissioner Abbott, second by Commissioner Young to approve <br />Amendment to existing PUD, subject to Street lights, one sheet Plat to accompany individual <br />plats, use of designation ofI-2, show building lines and D-3 with proper buffering for 1-2 and <br />buffering for 1-3, and continue to work with the Fire Department, and a title change that this is <br />an amendment to the PUD, and submit to Joe Beikman for a review before the January meeting. <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway of Holloway & Assoc. presented a request for Holloway & Bible for a rezone <br />from B-1 to PUD- Eat 100 Professional Court. The lot designated as B-2 would be three <br />doubles 1,0 I 0 square foot per side and Lot B-1 would be 14 one bedroom units with one <br />occupied by a site manager. They will be buffered by a parking lot. The units are for mentally <br />impaired people. The Govemment has targeted Mooresville as a community in need.
