<br />" <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />JUNE 27, 1996 THURSDAY, 7:30 P. M. <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan commission met in regular session on <br />Thursday, June 27, 1996 at 7:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Town <br />Hall. <br /> <br />commission members present were Joel Beebe, Bill Abbott, <br />Charles McGuire, Mike Young, John Ehrhart, Vern Kimmel, and <br />Tim Bennett. Tim Cummins and Art Raney were absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Charles McGuire, second by Bill Abbott to <br />approve the minutes of the May 23, 1996 meet1ng. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Steve Holloway addressed the commission concerning the house <br />located at 218 East South Street. He reported the Insurance <br />Company paid off the mortgage to the original owner. Joe <br />Beikrnan, Building Inspector, informed the Commission he had <br />received the letter faxed from Steve Hoffman. Bill Abbott <br />stated he wanted WARNING signs posted on the property. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Abbott, second by <br />commissioner Kimmel to kee~ track of this property and to <br />bring up structural condit10n issue in three (3) months. <br />__ Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway presented a four (4) lot minor plat located on <br />st. Road 144 east and adjacent to a condiminium project. <br />This is zoned A~riculture. It will not need to be rezoned. <br />After a discuss10n motion was made by Commissioner Abbott, <br />second by Commissioner Ehrhart for approval of the plat <br />subject to a variance for lot width and depth ratio. Motion <br />carried 5-2. commissioners McGuire and Young opposed. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway presented a two (2) lot minor plat for <br />Halstead/Prillman located close to Anderson Orchard. Motion <br />was made by Commissioner McGuire, second by Commissioner <br />Bennett to approve the property plat with the stipulation Lot <br /># 1 has 47 feet added to Lot #2 and a variance for width to <br />depth ratio on Lot # 1. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway presented a three (3) lot minor plat for Blair <br />located on State Rd. 144. Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Young, second by Commissioner Ehrhart to deny request because <br />a metal building is on the line of Lot # 3. Motion carried 4- <br />2 with 1 abstention. Motion was made by Commissioner Abbott, <br />second by Commissioner Bennett to reconsider the plat after <br />all cond1tions have been met: State Highway permits, septic <br />~ermits, variance for width to depth ratio of Lot #1 because <br />1t is landlocked on the south and a variance for existing <br />building setback on Lot # 3 or building removed.
