<br />· . <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />Jill Abbott advised the Commissior, that the technical <br />reVIBW committee found the infrastructure of this preliminary <br />p1~t to be inadequate. The plat showed three entrances from <br />Bridge Street, Mr. Abbott stated that is not acceptable. <br /> <br />Mr Holloway advised the Commission that the plat had <br />been revised to have an access road from Bridge Street to <br />service the parcel of land in question reducing the access to <br />Bridge Street to one road. <br /> <br />The proposed zoning Town Center II, presentation to Town <br />of Mooresville Plan Commission dated Augost 25, 1994 by <br />Mooresville Partners is on file in the rown Hall as part ot <br />these minutes, <br /> <br />Mr'. Ron Overton, 422 Roberson Blvd., Mr. Dennis <br />Lashbrook, 409 Tavistock Drive, Mr. Dave Stokes, 428 Kanter <br />bury Lane and Mr. William Thiede, 1332 C"dton Cour·t <br />presented petitions to the Commission opposing the rezor"ling <br />of this par'cel of land to R-3. The petitions are on file ii1 <br />the Town Hall as part of these minutes <br /> <br />Nun\erous remonstrators spoke against ttlis rezone <br />rer)catir,y t~le statements outlined in the above stated <br />petition. <br /> <br />Ms. (:arol Jo BUr"rlS, 5 EN Hlgh Street, spoke~rlfavor' of <br />the petition stating the need for apartments in this area. <br /> <br />Motiun was made by Bill Abbott, second by Art Raney to <br />deny the request to rezone part of the N/2 of the NE/4 of <br />Sec. 31, T14N R2E containing 9.43 acres more or less, <br />property located at Bridge Street and State Road 67, from AG <br />to R-3 due to the fact that this zoning is not ln compliance <br />with the Town's comprehensive plan. Motion carried 9 - O. <br /> <br />Mr. Lee Comer, Mr. Ross Holloway, and Mr. Kevin McKasson <br />appeared before the Mooresville Plan Commission on behalf of <br />¡Vloor03\/i118 Partner~3 petitioning to rezone part of the N/2 of <br />the NE/4 o"f Sec. 31 T14N R2E containing 5.99 acres more or <br />less, property located at Bridge Street and State Road 67 <br />frorn AG to b·-3. <br /> <br />Mr. Comer explained this rezone represents four lots ~n <br />the north end of this parcel, with three lots fronting on <br />bridge Street, one lot fronting on an access road from Bridge <br />Street. This rezone would allow for only one street to <br />access Brldge Street. <br /> <br />'-./ <br /> <br />Ms. Ellen Kramer of the Soil and Water Conservation <br />District stated that this development must file Rule 5. <br /> <br />:: <br />
