<br />., <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />constructed at the entrance of Grandview Subdivision on <br />J otlnson Road. <br /> <br />Mr. Dale Singer, 809 Johnson Road expressed his concern <br />in regard to traffic in this area if a subdivision of this <br />density is allowed. Mr. Singer also inquired about the <br />appearance of the back of the houses in this proposed <br />development. Mr. Davis advised those present that they will <br />present pictures of existing Davis Developments to show <br />the appearance of the homes. <br /> <br />Mrs. Phyllis Cottingim stated she owns 12.68 acres on <br />Johnson Road and is concerned about the drainage in the area <br />during contruction of this development. Mrs. Cottingim also <br />stated she thought it would be wise if the Plan Commission <br />developed a master plan for traffic control in this area. <br /> <br />Mr. Chris White, Land Development Engineer for Davis <br />Homes, advised those present that a five (5) acre retainage <br />lake will handle the drainage for this development. <br /> <br />Mr. Ed Loomis, 670 Johnson Road, raised the question of <br />over crowding in the Mooresville School Corporation caused by <br />exceSSlve development in the Mooresville area. <br /> <br />'- Plan Commission member Steve Edwards explained that the <br />fcling procedures for a subdivision mandate that the school <br />corporation be notified of all plat filings at the time of <br />filing. He advised all present that their concerns about <br />school over crowding be taken to the school board, as the <br />town has taken all steps possible to advise the school <br />corporation of proposed development in the school district. <br /> <br />Ms. Vickie Lassiter, 1302 Hadley Road, questioned the <br />width of the easement on Hadley Road in regard to the <br />developers plan to make Hadley Road an even grade. <br />Ms. Lassiter also inquired about the time table fOI the <br />development of this subdivision. <br /> <br />Mr. Davis stated they plan to start development by the <br />middle of the summer of 1994 with construction starting on <br />the west side of the property which would include the road <br />improvement in the first phase of construction. <br /> <br />The developer will research the easement width on <br />Hadley Road. <br /> <br />'--- <br /> <br />Mr. Foley stated the developer will petition the <br />Mooresville Plan Commission for final preliminary plat <br />approval for PUD-R for this parcel of land at the April <br />meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission. <br /> <br />,.., <br />¿ <br />
