O.S. OPEN SPACE <br /> <br />--------------------- <br /> <br />This district is designed to recognize the need for <br />parks, recreation areas, nature areas, and other natural <br />areas for the purpose of buffering zoning districts for <br />recreation, and aesthetic purposes. <br /> <br />(a) Representative Uses: Parks, Planting strips of <br />trees and flowers. <br /> <br />(b) Special Exceptions: None <br /> <br />------------------ <br /> <br />(c) Restrictions: None <br /> <br />------------ <br /> <br />IV. R-l, Residential Single Family <br /> <br />------------------------------------ <br /> <br />This is a single family dwelling district which shall <br />include areas which should be residential in character. The <br />classifications within the R-l zoning district shall vary in <br />minimum lot size and ground floor area of structure based <br />upon density and compatibility with the area and the master <br />plan for the Town of Mooresville. <br /> <br />Residential Single Family classifications shall be defined as <br />follows: <br /> <br />R-l (a) to be defined as low density residential. <br />R-l (b) to be defined as medium low density residential. <br />R-l (c) to be defines as medium high density residential. <br />R-l (d) to be defined as high density residential. <br /> <br />(a) Re~resentative Uses: Single family residential, <br />consist~ng of one-familr, detached dwellings. other <br />uses would include publ~c parks, playgrounds, and <br />related noncommercial recreational areas, churches. <br /> <br />(b) Special Exceptions: None. <br /> <br />------------------- <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Restrictions: <br /> <br />See Section 3 Tables 1 and 3a, also <br />Parking Table 4a. <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />------------- <br />
