<br />- The Prescott's plan to rebuild a new structure for the <br /> <br />same use. The new structure will be 60' X 40'; the old <br /> <br />structure was 30' x 50'. <br /> <br />Mr. Chuck O'Neal, 267 E. Main Street, Mooresville, <br />remonstrated against the rezone due to health reasons, the <br />use of diesel fuel at this location and oder. <br />commission members Abbott and Nicholson questioned <br />rezoning a lot on Main Street 1-1 due to the various uses <br />which this classification could contain. <br />Bill Abbott moved to deny the request for a rezone from <br />R to 1-1 at 251 E. Main Street, Mooresville, based on the <br />fact that the petitioners requested use for said property <br />can be obtained by filing for a variance. Art Raney second <br />- <br />the motion. Motion passed 9 - 0. <br />Mr. William McLaughlin appeared before the Mooresville <br />Plan Commission requesting a rezone for .75A, which lies <br /> <br />north of Motorama and south of Poe's Cafeteria on <br /> <br />State Road 67 South, from Ag to 1-1. <br />Motion was made by Steve Edwards, second by Tim Bennett <br />to recommend to the Mooresville Town Council the approval <br />of the proposed rezone from AG to 1-1 for the .75A, which <br />lies north of Motorama and south of Poe's Cafeteria on <br /> <br />State Road 67 South. <br /> <br />Motion carried 9 - 0. <br /> <br />Mr. Roger Caperton of Caperton Development appeared <br /> <br />before the Mooresville Plan Commission to advise the <br /> <br />'-." <br /> <br />2 <br />
