<br />· <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, APRIL 22, 1993 - 7:30 P.M. <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL <br /> <br />The Mooresville Planning Commission met for their regular <br /> <br />scheduled meeting on Thursday, April 22, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. at <br /> <br />the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Plan Commission members present were Bob Tucker, Bill Abbott, <br /> <br />Steve Edwards, Vern Kimmel, Art Raney, Joel Beebe, Tim Bennett, <br /> <br />and Signe Nicholson. Also present was the Commission's attorney, <br /> <br />Tim Currens. Member Charles McGuire was absent. <br /> <br />Motion to approve the March 25, 1993 Plan Commission minutes <br /> <br />was made by Steve Edwards. A second was made by Art Raney. <br /> <br />Motion passed 8 - O. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Mr. Phil Smith, on behalf of Cloverleaf Properties and <br /> <br />Marsh Supermarkets and Mr. George Cochran with Marsh supermarkets, <br />appeared before the Mooresville Planning Commission to request <br />a rezone from B-2 to B-3 on the parcel of land located at <br /> <br />St. Rd. 67 and St. Rd. 144. Mr. George Cochran presented plans <br /> <br />before the Commission about having a Marsh Supermarket and a <br /> <br />Village Pantry located on this property. Mr. Cochran explained <br /> <br />to the Commission their ideas on how to handle the traffic <br /> <br />situation by widening part of St. Rd. 144 to a four lane road. <br />Mr. Cochran explained to the Commission that they were trying <br /> <br />to obtain a traffic light at the intersection of Rooker Road & 144. <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />Mr. Cochran also informed the Commission that they would install <br />a new road between Neil Armstrong School and Sprïngmill Apartments <br /> <br />that would exit at Rooker Road; <br />
