<br />, <br />I, <br />f <br />r <br />r <br />r <br /> <br />"-- <br /> <br />Attorney Mark Peden appeared before the Mooresville Planning <br /> <br />Commission representing the Swinney Brothers with a request for <br /> <br />a preliminary plat for Collett Meadows, Section II. Mr. Peden <br /> <br />brought several people with him as part of his presentation in <br />order to give their opinions of the quality of homes and the need <br /> <br />for these homes. Mr. Peden also passed out information on people <br /> <br />currently living in Collett Meadows, Section I. <br /> <br />Several remonstrators appeared before the Commission with <br /> <br />concerns about Collett Meadows, Section II. <br /> <br />Commission members discussed the Swinney Brothers request <br /> <br />and possibly having deversity on the houses, and an average <br />lot size of 14,000 square feet. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bill Abbott to continue the above request <br /> <br />__ with the mentioned ideas added to Swinney Brothers plans. A <br /> <br />second was made by Steve Edwards. Motion passed 7 - O. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bill Abbott to continue Swinney Brothers <br />request for rezones on Sliaeoff Road and Landersdale Road until <br />the next meeting. A second was made by Signe Nicholson. <br />Motion passed 7 - O. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bill Abbott to set a time limit of 10:30 p.m. <br /> <br />on future hearings before the Plan Commission, and everything not <br /> <br />started before that time will be heard on the following Thursday <br /> <br />unless otherwise decided by the Commission. A second was made by <br /> <br />Tim Bennett. Motion passed 7 - O. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />'~ <br /> <br />Building Inspector Joe Beikman reported he made eighty (80) <br />inspections and issued thirty-nine (39) permits, and had one (1) <br />red tag. <br /> <br />7 <br />
