A second was made by Bill Abbott. <br />Motion passed 5 - 2, with McGuire and Nicholson opposing. <br /> <br />With the continuing of Marsh's request, Cloverleaf also <br /> <br />requested that the re-plat of Springhill Apartments, Phase I <br />be continued also. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bill Abbott to continue the re-plat for <br /> <br />Springhill Apartments, Phase I until the August 26, 1993 meeting. <br />A second was made by Steve Edwards. Motion passed 6 - 1, with <br /> <br />McGuire opposing. <br /> <br />Attorney Mark Peden appeared before the Mooresville Plan <br />Commission representing Reverand Harvey Waddelow of Missions <br /> <br />Alive to rezone property at 1980 St. Rd. 144 from AG to B-2. <br /> <br />Reverand Waddelow explained that he would like to convert a <br /> <br />'- large building on the back of the property into a video studio <br /> <br />so that they may make tapes for training missionaries. <br /> <br />. <br />Several residents from the area appeared before the Commission <br />opposing the B-2 zoning re·quest. <br />Missions Alive decided to withdraw their request for a B-2 <br /> <br />zoning and seek a variance through the Mooresville Board of Zoning <br /> <br />Appeals Board. <br /> <br />Attorney Richard Wood appeared before the Mooresville Plan <br />Commission representing Mr. & Mrs. Leonard Deckard with a preliminary <br />review for a rezone from I-2 to a P.U.D. - I for the purpose of <br /> <br />having a place to recycle plastics into lumber at the old tire <br /> <br />property. <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed and discussed the plans for Mr. Deckard's <br /> <br />request. <br /> <br />6 <br />
