<br />I <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />Mr. Caperton replied that they were waiting for the I.D.E.M. <br />approval and that this could not be answered at this time. <br />Motion was made by Steve Edwards to grant the rezoning <br />of Crafton Meadows from "A" to "R-1D". A second was made by <br />Greg Bergesen. Motion passed 7 - 1, with Nicholson opposing. <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission went over the plat check- <br />list to see that Caperton's plans met specifications for plat <br />approval. <br />Motion was made by Signe Nicholson to accept the plat sub- <br />ject to I.D.E.M. approval and the Escrow Agreement. A second <br />was made by Vern Kimmel. Motion passed 8 - O. <br />Attorney Ralph Foley came before the Mooresville Planning <br />Commission representing Environmental Development Corporation <br /> <br />with a request to rezone 1.217 acres, Comer Farm, from "A" to <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />"B-3". <br /> <br />Mr. Foley passed out a copy of the Comer Farm area for <br /> <br /> <br />the Board to review. Mr. Foley explained to the Board that they <br /> <br /> <br />wanted to use this area for storage facilities. (see attached) <br /> <br /> There was much discussion among the Board members about <br />the use of the area and the B-3 zoning classification. <br /> Motion was made by member Bill Abbott to recommend the <br /> <br />proposed rezoning to the Town Council. A second was made by <br /> <br /> <br />Greg Bergesen. One (1) abstained, two (2) were in favor, and <br /> <br /> <br />five (5) opposed. Motion was denied 5 to 2. <br /> <br /> <br />Environmental Development Corporation left am a~~s <br /> <br /> <br />request for R-1C zoning on all lots in Rooker Trace with the <br /> <br />3 <br />
