<br />I <br />, <br /> <br />subdivisions. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The curb and gutter shall be of one of the construction types shawn in <br />Figure 3 and shall be constructed according to the following <br />specifications: <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />a. The base for the curb and gutter shall be ,,-,=11 CCITpacted on the <br />existing base or grade. <br /> <br />b, The minimum specification shall be as shawn for the two types of cross <br />sections. <br /> <br />c. All concrete used in the curb and gutter shall meet the State Highway <br />Specifications for Class A. <br /> <br />G. Sidewalks: <br /> <br />1. Sidewalks shall be installed on both sides of all streets in any <br />subdivision. <br /> <br />2. Sidewalks shall be installed in all B zoning classifications. <br /> <br />3. When sidewalks are installed, they should be constructed of portland cemen <br />concrete at least 4 inches thick and 5 feet wide and placed 1 foot from th <br />street property line. <br /> <br />4. Sidewalks shall also be required where necessary to accanrodate present an <br />future pedestrian traffic as determined by the Commission. <br /> <br />'- <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Sidewalk specifications: <br /> <br />a. A 4 foot walk is required on residential streets with minimum 4 foot <br />grass strip. A 5 foot walk is required if the walk is closer than 4 feet <br />to the street. <br /> <br />b. A 5 foot sidewalk on all arterial and feeder streets with a minimum of <br />5 feet for a grassy strip between the street and sidewalk. <br /> <br />c. Sidewalks are required in all develo¡:rnents whether in residential use <br />areas or business or industrial. <br /> <br />H. Street Signs <br /> <br />The subdivider shall provide the subdivision with standard Town street signs at <br />the intersection of all streets. <br /> <br />I. Street Lights <br /> <br />The subdivider shall provide the subdivision with street lights, the quality ané <br />location of which shall be determined by the Commission. The street lights <br />shall not be required in the buffer zone. The street lights provided shall be <br />with the assistanceof the Tawn when the subdivision is located on a dedicated <br />street and the subdivider shall cover all expenses not furnished to the <br />goverrunental entity. <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />16 <br />
