<br />· ... <br /> <br />'~ <br /> <br />would come off the North end of Poe's Cafeteria parking lot and <br />South of Overton's Machine Shop. <br />Economic Development Director, Randy Haymaker, explained the <br />importance of why the road should be used as a public road. Mr. <br />Haymaker also explained that the road could be partially financed <br />through state grants. He also explained that the property would <br />add more assessed valuation than most parcels in town. <br />Mr. Robert Tucker asked the Lin-EI representatives what type <br />of construction would be used for the buildings. <br />Lin-EI representatives explained that they will be using Tilt <br />Wall construction, with membrane roofing to allow longevity and <br />quality for the buildings. <br />Mr. Rick Conner of American Consulting Engineers informed <br />the Plan Commission about the involvement they will have with the <br />~ <br />Planned Unit Development. Mr. Conner explained that their company <br />would be doing all the necessary surveying of the area, and all <br />the master planning of where a prospective building sight will go. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Pauley, who reside South of Lin-EI, Inc. <br />came before the Plan Commission expressing their concern about the <br />contamination of their water. They wanted assurance that it would <br />not be contaminated. <br />A representative with Lin-EI explained to Mr. and Mrs. Pauley <br />and the Commission that they must meet E.P.A. standards in order to <br />operate. They also informed the Pauleys that they would be having <br />American Consulting Engineers do a wet-land study of the area that <br />would check for any kind of contamination. <br />Planning Commission member William Abbott expressed his concern <br />about how they could accept the blank plat that had been brought <br /> <br />3 <br />
