Motion passed 5 - 1 with Signe Nicholson voting Nay and <br />Shirley Welker abstaining. <br />Environmental Development Corporation then came before the Board <br />for final plat approval. Ross Holloway said that the construction plans <br />will be finalized in the very near future and that all items that were <br />required at the preliminary plat approval have been met. Bill Abbott <br />asked if they had their highway permit and Ross said they do not have a <br />final but it is in process. Bill Abbott asked about extra lanes and <br />Ross said the State wanted 100' tapers instead of extra lanes because <br />they felt that would be too dangerous. <br />A motion was made by Bill Abbott to grant final plat approval <br />subject to Joe Beikman I S approval of the construction plans and escrow <br />agreement. A second was made by Steve Edwards. Motion carried 7 - O. <br />Tim Currens brought a letter to the attention of the Board regarding <br />the protected wetlands area. Tim told the Board they need to be aware of <br />this 'in future decisions. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Regarding the zoning ordinance changes Bill Abbott suggested a special <br />meeting on Thursday, October 10, 1991 at 7:00 P.M. All members of the <br />Board were in agreement. <br />Roger Caperton then came before the Board with his final plat for . <br />Roberson Village Phase 2. Since he did not meet the deadline for forI1¡!Ü <br />plat approval he wanted the Boards input and review prior to approval at <br />the next meeting. <br />Eldon Studer, Trustee from Bethel Friends came before the Board <br />regarding expansion of the Bethel Cemetery to see if any action needs to <br />be taken. The Board infonned him that no plat or action needs to be taken <br />on this expansion. <br />Joe Beikman, Building Inspector, reported that there were thirty- <br />three (33) inspection and sixteen (16) permits issued. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, a motion <br />was made by Signe Nicholson to adjourn.
