OPh'N SPACE <br /> <br />---------------------- <br /> <br />This district is designed to recognize the need for parks, recreation areas, <br />nature areas, and other natural areas for the purrose of buffering zoning districts <br />for recreation, and aesthetic purroses. <br /> <br />(a) Rerresentative Uses: Parks, Planting strips of trees and flowers. <br /> <br />(b) Special Exceptions: None <br /> <br />----------------------- <br /> <br />(c) Restrictions: None <br /> <br />----------------- <br /> <br />IV. R-l, Residential Single Family <br /> <br />----------------------------------- <br /> <br />'This is a single family dwelling district which shall include areas which shall <br />be residential in character. The classifications within the R-l zoning district <br />shall vary in minimum lot size and ground floor area of structure based uron density <br />and compatibility with the area and the rraster plan for the Town of Mcoresville. <br /> <br />Residential Single Family classifications shall }:>2 defined CIS follows: <br /> <br />R-l(a) to œ defined as low density residential. <br />R-l (b) to œ defined as rœdium low density residential. <br />R-l (c) to œ defined as rœdium high density residential. <br /> <br />(a) Representative Uses: Single family residential, consisting of one-family, <br />detached dwellings. Other uses would include public parks, playgrounds, and <br />related noncommercial recreational areas, churches. <br /> <br />(b) Special Exceptions: None. <br /> <br />----------------------- <br /> <br />(c) Restrictions: See Section 3 Tables 1 and 3a, also Parking Table 4a. <br /> <br />----------------- <br /> <br />V. R-2, RESIDENrIl\L <br /> <br />-------------------- <br /> <br />This district is designated to recognize one and two family residential units in <br />those areas which should œ residential in character, consisting of single family <br />structures, along with two family dwelling units. This area shall œ more densely <br />developed than the R-l districts but not as densely developed as the R-3 districts. <br />
