South St. <br /> <br /> <br />had no sanitary system and he would like to cite them. All members of the Plan <br /> <br /> <br />Commission were in favor of this action. <br /> <br /> <br />Joe Beikman further reported that property at 39~ West Main st. has a garage <br /> <br /> <br />which has been converted into a Hotel or Rooming House. There are 5 rooms and <br /> <br /> <br />1 bath. Although this property is zoned B3, state requirements are that you <br /> <br /> <br />must have 120 sq. ft per unit, proper ventilation, fire walls, etc. A motion <br /> <br /> <br />was made by Steve Edwards to cite this property owned by Douglas Turner. A <br /> <br /> <br />second was made by David Minardo. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />There was a discussion about apartments being left out of the Ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />Joe Beikman suggested we should charge $100 plus $15 per unit as per the <br /> <br />1984 Ordinance. After further discussion, a motion was made by Vern Kimmel <br /> <br />to recommend to the Town Council that apartments be charged $150.00 plus $15.00 <br /> <br /> <br />per unit and $125 for doubles. A second was made by Steve Edwards. Motion <br /> <br /> <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />Joel Beebe then read a letter received from Melanie riper on Sycamore <br /> <br /> <br />Lane regarding Lawyer Trucking on Old st. Rd. 67. Ms. piper expressed her <br /> <br /> <br />concern about this property and sent pictures with her letter. In addition, <br /> <br /> <br />Joel read a letter received from Junior Lawyer of Lawyer Trucking. Mr. Lawyer <br /> <br /> <br />would like to have a copy of the Ordinance and any regulations in order that <br /> <br /> <br />he could comply with these concerns. <br /> <br /> <br />A recommendation and motion was made by Bill to find out specifically <br /> <br /> <br />what the Ordinance allows and have Joe Beikman prepare a list of violations <br /> <br /> <br />then respond by letter to Junior Lawyer. A second was made by Steve Edwards. <br /> <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />The Building Inspector, Joe Beikman, gave his report and there were <br /> <br /> <br />fourteen (14) permits and sixteen (16) inspections made. <br /> <br /> <br />There being no further business, Vern Kimmel made a motion to adjourn. <br /> <br /> <br />A second was made by Steve Edwards.
