r , I I I t I "- .~ MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION The Mooresville Planning Commission met for its regular meeting on January 24, 1991 at 7:30 P.M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. Present were members Signe Nicholson, Vernon Kimmel, steve Edwards, William Abbott, Robert Tucker, David Barry, Joel Beebe and Shirley Welker. Absent was member David Minardo. Also present was the Commission's attorney, Timothy C. Currens. A motion was made by Joel Beebe to accept the minutes of the December, 1990 meeting. A second was made by Vernon Kimmel. Motion carried unanimously. A Minor plat Request was made by Mary Thomas with Ras Holloway, Surveyor, making the presentation. This request pertained to 5.01 acres off of state Road 144 being divided into two lots. One lot would be 1.018 and the other 1.227 acres. There would be an access easement consisting of a 20' strip. Donald Taylor, the neighbor who owns the adjoining strip, would enter into a Maintenance Agreement of this drive which would be recorded. This would be done after the approval of the Planning Commission and further surveying. Tim Currens suggested the Commission require a sign off letter on the Maintenance Agreement by the appropriate people to include the Building Inspector, Police Department, Fire Department, etc. A motion was made by Robert Tucker to approve the Minor Plat Request to Mary Thomas. A second was made by Joel Beebe. Motion carried unanimously. The Board discussed developing a form letter for agencies to sign regarding plats and what is necessary to be completed to obtain approval. This would eliminate time for all parties involved. The Board then elected officers for the 1991 year. Steve Edwards was nominated by William Abbott for Chairman but declined. Joel Beebe was nominated by Robert Tucker for Chairman. A second was made by David Barry. Motion carr~ed unanimously. Shirley Welker was nominated for Vice-Chairperson by Vernon Kimmel but declined. william Abbott was nominated for Vice-Chairman by Signe Nicholson. A second was made by Shirley Welker. Motion carried unanimously. David Minardo was nominated by Steve Edwards for Secretary. A second was made by william Abbott. Motion carried unanimously. Joe Beikman, Building Inspector, reported to the Commission that 4 permits had been issued and 17 inspections. There being no further business to come before the Commission, William Abbott made a motion to adjourn. A second was made by Shirley Welker. Motion carried unanimously. el Beebe, Chairman
