<br />road 67 and would be conducive to a business use. <br /> <br />Steve Edwards <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />stated that the Perry Softball Complex had not hurt the property values <br /> <br />in the area and since it adjoins a four lane highway business would <br /> <br />be an appropriate use. <br /> <br />Steve Edwards then moved to leave the Compre- <br /> <br />hensive Plan the same as it had been proposed concerning this area. <br /> <br />It was seconded by Robert Tucker. <br /> <br />for and 0 opposed. <br /> <br />Robert Tucker then raised the issue of a R-4 designation reference <br /> <br />The motion passed with a vote of 6 <br /> <br />in the Comprehensive Plan that there was no such designation in the <br /> <br />proposed zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />He thought the references should be deleted <br /> <br />and the ordinance remain the same with manufactured housing being allowed <br /> <br />in the use classification set out in the ordinance and the restrictions <br /> <br />provided for in that section of the ordinance to dictate implementation. <br /> <br />Mr. Tucker put this in fhe form of a motion which was seconded by <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />Steve Edwards and passed by a vote of'6 in favor and 0 opposed. <br /> <br />There <br /> <br />being no further references to the Comprehensive Plan by the public <br /> <br />or the Plan Commission the board opened the hearing up to a vote. <br /> <br />Robert <br /> <br />Tucker moved to certify the Comprehensive Plan to the Town Council for <br /> <br />approval and passage. This was seconded by Shirley Welker and carried <br /> <br />by a vote of 6 in favor and 0 opposed. <br /> <br />The board then proceeded to a discussion of the new zoning ordinance <br /> <br />and accompanying maps. <br /> <br />Robert Tucker gave an overview of the ordinance. <br /> <br />He discussed each topic covered by the ordinance, and how the new <br /> <br />zoning uses would allow for a reclassification of existing uses in <br /> <br />approximately an equal or greater classification. <br /> <br />The board's attorney <br /> <br />advised that all of the new rezonings that had been done since the <br /> <br />maps had been drafted should be incorporated into the maps before <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />-8- <br />
