'-

'-

'--

,

~

The second issue concerned the plat approval of Roberson

Woods Section I. The Board proceeded through the Subdivision

Control Ordinance, primary approval stages. A discussion was had

concerning bonding and the Board's Attorney advised that the

Building Inspector had been able to determine the recommended

figures for bonding. The Board finding the rest of the

subdivision control ordinance, primary approval on the plat being

in order opened the meeting up to questions from the floor. There

being no comments, the Plan Commission discussed the same among

themselves. Robert Tucker then moved to approve primary approval

of the plat subject to bonds being posted in the amounts required

by the Building Inspector. This was seconded by Joel Beebe and

passed by a vote of 9 in favor and 0 opposed. The Board's

Attorney advised that the plat approval was obtained subject to

bonding being posted with the town and at that time the President

and Secretary of the Plan Commission could execute the plat.

The Board then proceeded to plat approval on Town Center,

Section I and II. The drainage was explained by the

res presentative from Lewis Engineering and he advised that it

would go to a detention area that was not yet constructed;

however, that the current drainage was satisfactory to handle this

portion of the run-off until the area north of the proposed Bridge

Street extension was developed. He stated that the current area

would suffice a 100 year storm. The Board went through the

subdivision control ordinance on primary approval of the

subdivision. Questions were asked concerning the Building

Inspector Beikman's approval of the specifications of improvements

-4-
