'---

~

'---

ì

their parking lot. The Board's Attorney advised that all businesses

have this problem and they should attempt to take care of this

matter by advising the violators of their lot being a private

parking lot. Virginia Napier of 40 Raesta Drive then spoke. Mrs.

Napier wanted to know whether or not it would be a violation of

the variance if someone appeared at the business at 6:55 on a

Saturday and she went ahead and started to do their hair. The

Board agreed that unless this happened on a regular basis this

would not create a problem. Signe Nicholson then looked at the

appointment books. As she was doing this Mr. Chandler questioned

the Board as to whether or not it was a problem for the spouse of

a customer to use the alleyway to drop the customer by the closest

door. Dave Minardo stated that this should not be a problem so

long as the alley was not obstructed for any length of time. Lynn

Amos of 1057 Delwood wanted to know whether or not it was a

problem for her to go back into the shop on a Sunday to get

equipment. Again, the Board stressed the character of the use and

the number of times this would occur. Chairperson Nicholson then

asked if there were any additional questions. There being none,

the Board emphasized the need for the Chandlers to follow the

restrictions set out in the variance including not to open for

business on Sunday, to provide the adequate parking, to restrict

their hours from 7:00 a.m. opening to an actual closing time of

9:00 p.m., along with maintaining the restriction of two tanning

beds and 6 beauticians. The Board thanked the Chandlers for

coming in to clarify the questions that had arisen.

-4-
