Based upon this they felt the pit would be a <br /> <br /> <br />sufficient safeguard. The next question considered increased <br /> <br /> <br />traffic onto Allison or Ferguson Roads. In particular the questin <br /> <br /> <br />was whether or not there had been any studies done on this <br /> <br /> <br />traffic. The response was that only 8 homes were proposed and <br /> <br /> <br />that no study had been done. They felt that opening up Bridge <br /> <br /> <br />Street would also assist the traffic problems on both Allison and <br /> <br /> <br />Ferguson Roads. Steve Saucerman stated that Ferguson Road was not <br /> <br /> <br />a good road and a potential traffic problem. <br /> <br /> <br />Jennalu Ma~ley of 21 Merrillville Court questioned whether or <br /> <br /> <br />not the treatment plant would have to be expanded to take care of <br /> <br /> <br />this additional development. Mr. Beikman believed there was <br /> <br /> <br />sufficient capacity. Eileen Mathers questioned the number of <br /> <br /> <br />children and where they would go to school. She also asked if the <br /> <br /> <br />Caperton Group would donate land for a new school. Roger Caperton <br /> <br /> <br />advised that this would have to be addressed with the school <br /> <br /> <br />board. She stated that Neil Armstrong did not have any room for <br /> <br /> <br />additional growth. Steve Saucerman then questioned who would put <br /> <br /> <br />in the sewer line along Allison Road. Roger Capterton advised if <br /> <br /> <br />it was put in along their ground that it would be done at the <br /> <br /> <br />developer's expense. Signe Nicholson then polled the Board for <br /> <br /> <br />additional questions. Attorney Currens advised that the standards <br /> <br /> <br />for the subdivision control ordinance and plat approval should be <br /> <br /> <br />itemized and that the second issue was the rezoning of the <br /> <br /> <br />property.
