He also advised that on the three lots platted <br />for multi-family residential, "doubles", that only one double <br />would be placed on each lot. Next, concerning access to the mini- <br />warehouses, the attorney advised that Clay Street would be the <br />natural access. He also felt that this would be a low volume <br />traffic use and that the doubles would not provide an exceptional <br />amount of traffic either with no more than 12 vehicles to be <br />present with the 6 family units. In summary, the petitioners' <br />counsel advised that this was a distinct parcel of ground which <br />needs special types of zoning. He stated that the mini-warehouse <br />use would be compatible with the other commercial uses on this <br />side of the tract and the doubles would not be inconsistent with <br />the surrounding ground. He added that the Raymonds' proposed home <br />would be an exceptionally nice house and a real asset to this <br />area. Mr. House then introduced Mike Duke, of Duke Construction, <br />who has been contracted to build the Raymonds' home, the mini- <br />warehouses, and the recording studio. <br />Questions from the floor were then considered including <br />drainage in this area. The remonstrators felt that some of the <br />buildings would be very close to where the creek passes through. <br />Mr. House advised that the creek would be tiled in some areas if <br />necessary, and it was not their intent to restrict the flow of <br /> <br /> <br />the creek. <br /> <br /> <br />One of the remonstrators questioned why the petitioners would <br /> <br /> <br />build the warehouses first and then their own home later. Mr. <br /> <br /> <br />House was not able to answer this question but felt that it might <br /> <br />-2- <br />
