<br />I <br /> <br />william Abbott then moved to recommend to the Board of Zoning <br />Appeals that the proposed special exception would adversely affect <br />the Master Land Use Plan. Signe Nicholson stated that she was in <br />agreement with the motion and thought that the specific reasons <br />should be itemized, including the fact that this land is residen- <br />tial in use and that the business would represent spot zoning. <br />Mr. Abbott amended his motion to reflect the same, and this was <br /> <br />seconded by Steve Edwards and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />The next item on the agenda under old business was an update <br /> <br />on the alleged unsafe building violations. Joe Beikman stated <br />that the property at 2 W. Main Street was progressing with walls <br />and wiring and felt the status of this was satisfactory. <br />Mr. Beikman stated that the property at 125 E. High Street was <br />still not secured and advised that he and the Board's Attorney had <br />already filed a motion for a hearing at the next meeting on this <br />matter. The Building Inspector stated that the property at 7 <br />Williams Drive was progressing, with a new roof being placed on it <br />after the fire and additional work being done daily. He stated <br />that the property located at 5 E. Harrison Street was still the <br />same and requested a Notice of Order on this. william Abbott <br />moved to have the Board prepare the Notice of Order, and this was <br /> <br />seconded by Steve Edwards, and unanimously carried. The hearing <br /> <br /> <br />on this matter would be for the next meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Beikman advised that the property located at 165 Taylor <br /> <br /> <br />Street had been corrected. He requested a hearing on the property <br /> <br /> <br />at 10 E. Main Street since the property had not been corrected <br /> <br /> <br />yet and he felt the facade in front created a danger for the <br /> <br />'--' <br /> <br />-3- <br />
