<br />the uses allowed under the "B" classification this would be the <br /> <br /> <br />highest and best use of the land with little impact being added to <br /> <br /> <br />the area from traffic, water, or septic required for a double on <br /> <br /> <br />this lot. She stated further that the rest of the area is <br /> <br /> <br />residential and in the buffer zone area the off-highway uses have <br /> <br /> <br />been almost exclusively residential, making this use consistent. <br /> <br /> <br />Based upon this, Signe Nicholson moved that the Plan Commission <br /> <br /> <br />recommend to the Town Board of Trustees that the property be <br /> <br /> <br />rezoned from A-Agricultural to B-Residential. This was seconded <br /> <br /> <br />by William Abbott and unanimously carried. All parties were <br /> <br /> <br />advised of the next Town Board meeting, July 3, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />at the Town Hall. Gary Mulllenix requested a moment to address <br /> <br /> <br />the Board and parties present. Gary stated that there were no ill <br /> <br /> <br />feelings about the Board's ruling and that although he was against <br /> <br />-' <br />the rezoning, he certainly is not against the Prudens and wanted <br /> <br /> <br />to publicly state his opinion on the rezoning and feelings <br /> <br /> <br />towards his neighbors. In particular, he advised the Prudens that <br /> <br /> <br />he would assist in any way he could. The Board thanked all of the <br /> <br /> <br />parties present for their orderly presentations. <br /> <br /> <br />The next item on the agenda was the unsafe building violation <br /> <br /> <br />at 125 E. High Street. Present was Jerry Graybill, the owner of <br /> <br /> <br />the property, along with the ordinance enforcement agent, Building <br /> <br /> <br />Inspector Joseph Beikman. Mr. Graybill addressed the Board and <br /> <br /> <br />advised of the history of this structure. In particular, that it <br /> <br /> <br />was rented in the fall of 19BB with a tenant who destroyed part of <br /> <br /> <br />the property and did not pay rent. When this tenant was evicted, <br /> <br /> <br />he attempted to get a handyman in to fix the property up, but the <br /> <br />-./ <br /> <br />-5- <br />
