The Board agreed to this recommendation and Mr. <br /> <br />.... <br />Beikman was to advise the Lowrys of this decision. <br />The next item to come before the Board was the violation of <br />Dr. Alarcon on the Monroe Street property. A letter from Dr. <br />Alarcon and his tenant were presented and reviewed by the Board. <br /> <br /> <br />The Board's attorney advised that he had been in contact with Dr. <br /> <br /> <br />Alarcon and the tenant, the Fites, and that they all had agreed to <br /> <br /> <br />have the premises vacated by April 1, 1988. The Board's attorney <br /> <br /> <br />requested permission to file suit in the event the property is not <br /> <br /> <br />vacated by April 1st. A motion was made by Steve Edwards, <br /> <br /> <br />seconded by William Abbott and unanimously carried to grant the <br /> <br /> <br />attorney the authority to proceed on this matter in the event the <br /> <br /> <br />violation was not cured by April 1. <br /> <br /> <br />The next item to come before the Board was the inspection of <br /> <br /> <br />the property at 18 West Harrison by the building inspector, Joseph <br /> <br /> <br />Beikman. Building Inspector Beikman reported eight (8) violations <br /> <br /> <br />under the unsafe building ordinance. He advised that this would <br /> <br /> <br />be set for a hearing in April. <br /> <br /> <br />Building Inspector Beikman also advised of four (4) <br /> <br /> <br />violations at 840 Edgewood Drive, property owned by the Smiths <br /> <br /> <br />under the unsafe building ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />The Board then proceeded to a discussion of the zoning maps <br /> <br /> <br />and worked out boundary lines for the extension of the buffer <br /> <br /> <br />zone. After much discussion the boundary lines were set and <br /> <br /> <br />William Abbott was in agreement to prepare a map for the Board's <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />-6- <br />
