Chairman Kimmel then opened up the <br /> <br />discussion to the Board and Signe Nicholson requested the exact <br />property lines. These were pointed out by Mark Peden. Robert <br />Tucker had a question about the current business use in the alley <br />(the auto detail business of Ken Wilcher). <br />There being no further business from the Board, the Chairman <br />opened up the discussion to the floor. Ken Wilcher, an adjoining <br />property owner, questioned what type of business uses would be <br />allowed in General Business. The Board explained its Ordinance <br />under that use and some of the potential uses. Mr. Peden stated <br /> <br />that they had one request from a person that wanted to purchase <br /> <br />the property for a feed store and this was the reason for their <br />desire for a General Business Use. Mrs. Golden of 340 East <br />Washington Street stated that the property was up for public <br />auction on 11-12-88, and felt that it would be better for the <br />purchaser to come in with a request for rezoning since they would <br /> <br /> <br />know what they would want to use the property for. Mr. Kays of <br /> <br /> <br />348 East Washington Street objected to the General Business Use <br /> <br /> <br />within three blocks of his property and to all of those potential <br /> <br /> <br />uses under General Business.
