<br />'- <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMl1ISSION <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at a special meeting called one week <br /> <br />early due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Said meeting taking place November 20, <br /> <br />1986 at the Mooresville Town Hall. Present were Board Members Steve Edwards, <br /> <br />Bill Abbott, Tilford Bailey, Vernon Kimmel and Joe Beebe. Building Inspector <br /> <br />Joe Beikman was present along with the Board's Attorney, Timothy C. Currens. <br /> <br />Chairman Edwards found that there was a quorum present and proceeded to <br /> <br />the approval of the minutes of the prior meeting. The Board then proceed with the <br /> <br />first item on the agenda which was the status of the Graybill unsafe building <br /> <br />ordinance judgment. The Board's Attorney was advised that Mr. Graybill had come <br /> <br />in and given him the legal description and was to come back and sign the agreement <br /> <br />and first mortgage within the next 7 days. Building Inspector Beikman advised that <br /> <br />Mr. Graybill had started to work on the property. The Board then tabled this for <br /> <br />the time being and proceeded with the next item on the agenda. <br /> <br />The Board proceeded with a discussion of the Redeker property on South <br /> <br />Street and was advised that Mr. Redeker had been notified to appear at the meeting. <br /> <br />After a discussion regarding the status of the property and the potential remedies <br /> <br />the Board proceeded to request its attorney to file an action before the next meeting. <br /> <br />This was moved by William Abbott and seconded by Joel Beebe. At this point Mr. <br /> <br />Redeker did appear and stated that he was running a few minutes late. He advised <br /> <br />that he originally rented this property as a carpet cleaning business location and <br /> <br />soon there were tires and other junk brought in. He had been attempting to have <br /> <br />the parties removed since June of this year. Mr. Redeker pointed out that he <br /> <br />had filed a court proceeding which was set for the 21st day of November 1986 and <br /> <br />hoped to have the tenants evicted by the court. He stated that he would have the <br /> <br />tires removed as soon as he had the parties evicted but did not want to risk the <br /> <br />liability of having the tires hauled away. Mr. Abbott at this time moved to <br /> <br />withdraw his previously entered motion and to table this until the following <br />
