Mr. Redeker <br /> <br />advised the Board that he would contact their attorney after the court proceeding. <br /> <br />The Board then discussed the tire situation on State Road 67 next to Weddles. <br /> <br />Building Inspector Beikman had reviewed the violation and was advised that steps <br /> <br />were being made to have them removed. <br /> <br />The Board then proceeded to the written complaint filed by Richard and <br /> <br />Natasha Puryear of 146 E. Washington Street, Mooresville, Indiana which had a <br /> <br />pet kion attached to it and stated that their complaint regarded Summit Finishing <br /> <br />Corporation and emissions of a floride base chemical. Mr. Puryear stated that <br /> <br />these omissions from Summit Finishing Corporation's plant on Bridge Street had <br /> <br />caused damage to their vehicles on three occasions and, likewise, to several <br /> <br />other people who live in the area and also that work at Automotive Armature. <br /> <br />He stated that he did not want Summit Finishing out of business just to clean up <br /> <br />their air polluting omissions. In particular, he wanted the Town to support their <br /> <br />efforts to have someone monitor these omissions and see if the State Air Pollution <br /> <br />Control Board would assist. He also stated that he had filed a complaint verbally <br /> <br />with them and had gotten little or no response. He also showed a plant from the <br /> <br />Myrtle Clark residence at 337 North East Street which showed damage from some <br /> <br />source which he beliœved was the pollutants from Summit Finishing. <br /> <br />Sandy Lundy from North East Street was also present and concerned about <br /> <br />the damage to health and home occuring from these air polluting chemicals. Joel <br /> <br />Beebe asked how long these omissions had been occuring and Mr. Puryear stated to <br /> <br />his knowledge since June of this year. William Abbott asked whether or not the <br /> <br />contact with Richard Secula of the State Air Pollution Control Board had been <br /> <br />verbal or in writing. Mr. Puryear stated that he had talked with him many times <br />verbally and had sent nothing in a written form. Mrs. Lundy then went on to <br />state that her aluminum siding had black blotches on it and she believed this <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />was from the chemicals in the air. Tracy McGuire then spoke, on behalf of <br /> <br />Automotive Armature, and stated that Judy Selburg, one of their employees, had <br />
