FINDINGS OF FACT OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION

~

Re: Docket No. 2-1985
Filed by Hart N. Hasten and
Mark Hasten requesting rezoning
from LB - Local Business to
B - Multi-Family Dwellings,
the property located on South
Indiana Street commonly known as
the "Taylor Property"

I. That the proposed zoning creates a less intense use than the present

zoning classification.

2. That the request for a rezoning from LB - Local Business to B- Multiple

Family Dwelling represents the highest and best use of the property and the surrounding

area. The petitioned property is bounded on the south by several local businesses and

on the north by certain industrial uses and the present zoning has not been utilized.

As such, the Master Plan is not working and should be modified.

3. That the use of the property as multiple family dwelling would allow the

'-'

property to be more beneficial to the community and the owner without any detrimental

effects to the surrounding property owner.

DECISION:

It is therefore the decision of the Mooresville Plan Commission to recommend

to the Mooresville Town Board the granting of the rezoning petition from LB - Local

Business to B - Multiple Family Dwelling as requested in Docket No. 2-1985 filed by

Hart N. Hasten and Mark Hasten.

(
Dave Barry, President

'--
