Lastly, Mr. Cunningham advised that the concrete work would be done on <br /> <br />slabs which would limit the dust and in addition they would be working with a <br /> <br />wet mix which was brought in by the cement trucks, and preferably those would <br /> <br />be the trucks of Tri-Mi Ready Mix which is across the road. He also explained <br /> <br />that the vibration machines used in the manufacturing process would not be the <br /> <br />large ones and the noise they make would be less than the cement trucks. <br /> <br />The next individual to speak was David Ream who had questions regarding <br /> <br />the access. Byron Fields then advised that he had sold the ground to the Stewarts <br /> <br />and was aware of the potential water problems in this area. Tilford Bailey asked <br /> <br />Mr. Fields how much of the area floods and he advised up to 9 acres. Susan Joyner <br /> <br />then spoke and asked what happens if the railroad denies access. The parties said <br /> <br />that the offer to purchase was contingent upon access to Mr. Cunningham and that <br /> <br />his business, at least, would not go ahead with the purchase if access was denied. <br /> <br />,",' Ron Alexander asked the question regarding future access off Indianapolis Road. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />"",-- <br /> <br />The Board's Attorney advised that future access could be obtained off Indianapolis <br /> <br />Road by purchasing other property and having it rezoned to the same industrial use <br /> <br />classification. <br /> <br />There being no additional comments from the floor the Chairman opened up the <br /> <br />petition to the Board. After a brief discussion Steve Edwards stated he saw no <br /> <br />problem with the rezoning and moved to change the zoning classification from Rl - <br /> <br />Residential to II - Industrial finding this to be the highest and best use of this <br /> <br />property. This was seconded by Ron Alexander and five voted in favor of the <br /> <br />petition with Tilford Bailey voting against the petition. This being a quorum of <br /> <br />the Board the recommendation to pass the rezoning was passed on to the Town Board. <br /> <br />The Board then proceeded to the Building Inspector's report. Building Inspector <br /> <br />Beikman advised that there had been 13 permits issued and 21 inspections. There <br /> <br />being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was adjourned upon <br />
