<br />.- ~ ~ <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />Minutes of meeting of May 25, 1978. <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session on <br />Thursday, May 25, 1978, at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall. The <br />following Board Members were present: <br /> <br />Mr. William Abbott, President; <br />Mr. Steve Edwards; <br />Mr. George Smith; <br />Mr. Warren Grubb, Jr.; and <br />Mr. Tilford Bailey. <br /> <br />Mr. David E. Lawson, attorney for the Board, was also present. <br /> <br />In the absence of the Board Member and Secretary, Eweather Stephens, <br />Mr. Steve Edwards was appointed as acting Secretary for the meeting. <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved by the <br />Board. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />The petition as filed by the Citizens Bank of Mooresville, Indiana, <br />was tabled for further action. <br /> <br />Mr. Lawson informed the Board that letters had been sent by Certified <br />Mail, Return Receipt Requested, to the following property owners who <br />were asked to appear before the Board on this date to show cause, <br />if any, they might have as to why they are not in violation of the <br />Mooresville Zoning Ordinance. Such letters being sent to Mr. <br />Cecil Wineman; Mr. Hansford Benge; and Mr. James Rippy. Copies <br />of the letters are on file with the Minutes of this meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Benge appeared before the Board and based upon the comments that <br />were submitted to the Board by Mr. Benge, it was determined that he <br />was not operating a business out of the garage which was recently <br />built on his property. The Board thanked Mr. Benge for appearing <br />to clarify the matter. <br /> <br />Mr. Cecil Wineman thereafter appeared and upon inquiry being made <br />by the Board and upon evidence submitted including but not limited <br />to fact that a business card had been issued by the property owner <br />giving his home address as the place of business, a copy of which <br />was viewed by the Board and is made a part of these minutes as an <br />exhibit; the fact that third parties did corne to the residence with <br />the purpose of securing floral arrangements from the property owner <br />and the fact that retail business permit and/or tax number had been <br />
