<br />~ <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />June 16, 1975 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met in <br />June 16, 1975. Those members present were: <br />Edwards, William Abbott, Bennie Mendenhall, <br />Eweather Stephens. Attorney for the Board, <br />to attend, the meeting. <br /> <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br /> <br />regular session on <br />Robert Farmer, Steve <br />Bill Roberson and <br />David Lawson, was unable <br /> <br />Appearing before the Plan Commisssion was Bennie J. & Sandra K. <br />Elsbury, of 681 Rose Lane, seeking an answer as to whether or not the <br />Zoning Codes would permit the building of a garage on their property. <br /> <br />After due discussion by the commission to define the meaning of <br />Accessory Building it was decided that the proposed garage falls under <br />the Category of Accessory Building. (See 14 B-3) <br /> <br />A motion was made by Bennie Mendenhall that the Elsburys be granted <br />a building permit for the garage, by the Building Inspector for the town <br />of Mooresvllle, with the provision that the garage be located at least <br />seven (7) feet from the back property line and not less than three (3) <br />feet from the side property line. The motion was seconded by William <br />Abbott and was passed. <br /> <br />As a second order of business, Jack and Suzanne Turner were seeking <br />information relative to construction ofa double dwelling they plan to <br />build on lot #7 at the corner of East Carlisle and Bishop Streets. <br />Because the lot (60' x 120' ) was thought not to be large enough to <br />comply with zoning regulations, they were referred to the Board of <br />Zonlng >Appea Is. <br /> <br />There being no further business, upon a motion by William Roberson, <br />seconded by Steve Edwards, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />~~ J.fi:i<<= <br /> <br />Secretary <br /> <br />j~~ Q, f?
