~ MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION June 16, 1975 The Mooresville Plan Commission met in June 16, 1975. Those members present were: Edwards, William Abbott, Bennie Mendenhall, Eweather Stephens. Attorney for the Board, to attend, the meeting. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. regular session on Robert Farmer, Steve Bill Roberson and David Lawson, was unable Appearing before the Plan Commisssion was Bennie J. & Sandra K. Elsbury, of 681 Rose Lane, seeking an answer as to whether or not the Zoning Codes would permit the building of a garage on their property. After due discussion by the commission to define the meaning of Accessory Building it was decided that the proposed garage falls under the Category of Accessory Building. (See 14 B-3) A motion was made by Bennie Mendenhall that the Elsburys be granted a building permit for the garage, by the Building Inspector for the town of Mooresvllle, with the provision that the garage be located at least seven (7) feet from the back property line and not less than three (3) feet from the side property line. The motion was seconded by William Abbott and was passed. As a second order of business, Jack and Suzanne Turner were seeking information relative to construction ofa double dwelling they plan to build on lot #7 at the corner of East Carlisle and Bishop Streets. Because the lot (60' x 120' ) was thought not to be large enough to comply with zoning regulations, they were referred to the Board of Zonlng >Appea Is.
