<br />HlNUTES OF ~:OORESVILLE PLAN COEllISSION MEETING <br /> <br />February 9, 1970 <br />7:30 PH <br />Hunicipal Bldg. <br /> <br />],:embers present: Chairman, George \'.orland, Narlow Fulk, Winston Tackitt, <br />Vurry Stanley, and Earl Hagenheimer. <br /> <br />Hinutes of the January meeting were read and approved. <br /> <br />The first item of business was the docket of John Moore and his property, <br />formerly the Templeton property at 'South Clay and East Harrison, and his petition <br />for re-zoning of the property from lA to lC to make the house into multiple dwelling <br />status. Hr. Ralph Foley, Jr., a.'1d Mr. Hoore made a few brief statements as did <br />V~. William Wright speaking in opposition to the re-zoning so as to give the new <br />Plan Collllllission member, Hurry Stanley, a little history on the matter. <br />After some brief discussion, \'~nston T~ckitt moved that the Plan Collllllission <br />vote on the proposal for re-zoning. This -..as seconded by Harlow Fulk. The chairman, <br />George Ivorland then called for an oral vote with the following results: <br />Earl Hagenheimer - yes <br />l<arlow Fulk - yes <br />Winston Tackitt ~ yes <br />Murry Stanley - no <br />This carried and Nill now go to the Town Board for final hearing and voting. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />The Commission then heard the Road and Sidewalk Report read by George Worland <br />as submitted to the Collllllission by Vdckey Denny. It was asked if each member could <br />have a copy of these specifications and the secretary said he would make copie. <br />and mail them to each member. Huch diucussion followed on this matter and it was <br />decided that this would be discussed further at the !1arch meeting, after the members <br />had a chance to look at the specifications and at which time !,jr. Denny might be <br />able to meet with the Comcdssion. <br /> <br />It was again brought to the attention of the Collllllission that the particular <br />gas station that had a sign on the sidewalk in fromt of their station had not <br />moved this sign, thus still creating a safety hazard. This was to be investigated <br />and corrected. <br /> <br />A discussion followed on the problem of annexation and then it was suggested <br />by Hinston TackiLt that the Commission get the annexation proposals back from <br />the Town Board and re-evaluate them.
