MINUTES OF MOORESVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

January 13, 1969
7:30 PM
Municipal Building

Members present: Chairman George Worland, Bob Johnson, Marlow Fu1k,
Dave Loudermilk, Winston Tackitt, Earl Magenheimer, John Crose and Dale
Hese1man.

~;Wv~s
eEiI,~" to the previous meeting were read. Winston Tackitt moved
and it was seconded by Marlow Fu1k that minutes be approved. Motion
carried.

Election of officers was the first item of business. Winston Tackitt
moved that the officers for 1968 be retained for 1969 -- that is George
Worland, Chairman, Winston Tackitt, Vice-Chairman, and Earl Magenheimer,
Secretary. This was seconded and the motion carried.

Receipts were received, notice of publications were rendered, etc. for
Docket No. 6 of Edward and Esther Meridith of zoning from 1A to 1C for
a multiple dwelling of property owned by the Meridiths at 41 West High St.
Voting for granting of proposal was verbal and 'was unanimous for it.

A report on the survey of the boundry lines for town was made. It was
stated that Delbert Hobson had most of the information and Chairman Worland
would call a special meeting for working out these lines with him.

Chairman Worland stated that as of the commission meeting of Jan. 13,
1969, he had not received any paper work from the Wake-Up Oil Company
pertaining to their Docket No.5. (See minutes of Nov. 11, 1968.)

Bob Dunn appeared for clarification on what he would have to do to
annex some several acres in Hendricks County to the town for building
purposes. After some discussion Winston Tackitt moved and it was seconded
by Marlow Fu1k that the Planning Commision is in favor of administering
the plotting and planning of the purposed 52 acres in Hendricks County
for annexation if the town board approves such action. The voting by
members was as follows: Johnson - yes
Fu1k - yes
Hese1man- no
Magenheimer - yes
Tackitt - yes
.
.
A letter on this matter is to go to the town board for their Jan. 21 meeting.

The meeting was then adjourned after a motion by Marlow Fu1k and a
second by Winston Tackitt.

Earl Magetlheimer

~
