<br />MINUTES OF MOORESVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> <br />Sept. 8, 1969 <br />7:30 PM <br />Municipal Bldg. <br /> <br />Members Present: Winston Tackitt, Bob Johnson, John Crose, Marlow Fulk, Dave <br />Louisermilk, Earl Magenheimer, Chairman George Worland, and Fred Corey, sttorney. <br />~axmiRHxaRxwXXH <br />Mr. Moore,~~~er of the Templeton property, South Clay St. and Harrison, appeared <br />to see what he had to do to get his property re-zoned from lA to lC for the purpose <br />of building apartments on th property east of the exsisting house. He stated he had <br />157 ft. on Clay St. and 240 ft. on Harrison and would keep the exsisting house, but <br />would build the aprtments on the remaining part of the lot. Mr. Worland told him of <br />the procedures he would have to take for this purpose. <br /> <br />The minutes of the last meeting were read and after some corrections Marlow <br />Fulk moved the minutes be accepted as corrected. This was seconded by John Crose & <br />the motion earned. <br /> <br />Under new business, George Worland read reccommendations for specifications of <br />streets and sewer that had been proposed by Mickey Denny, town street commissioner. <br />Several revisions were suggested by members of the planning commission.Attorney <br />Corey suggested the commission take the best from the exsisting specs from the sub- <br />division controls and from the new one submitted and correlate these into one good <br />set. This was accepted by consensus. <br /> <br />After some discussion it was moved by John Crose that the Planning Commission <br />be responsible for working on a master plan for the town. This was seconded by <br />Marlow Fulk and the motion carried. <br /> <br />A question as to the new trailer at the cornee of Indianapolis Road and Carlisle <br />Street. Dave Loudermilk was to investigate to see if the property had changed hands or <br />just what the status was. He was also to check on when the trailer at the Horner <br />mobile home site had changed hands. <br /> <br />George Worland stated he had received aRK request for re-zoning of the Merle <br />Kays Tract lying east off of Indianapolis Road. This was received from Esther and <br />Ronald Kays of Port Charlotte, Florida. This would be changed from lA to lC. <br />George stated he was calling a meeting for a hearing on this matter on Monday, <br />Sept. 22. <br /> <br />After this the commission west into an executive session and was then adjourned. <br /> <br />Earl Magenheimer <br />Secretary <br />
