Randall Harris, 4362 E. Allison Rd., asked the commission what a PUD meant. He was
told a PUD was a larger tract of ground developed as a unit with some unique areas and
the Plan Commission could put restrictions on the PUD.

Mark Henry, 13457 Allison Rd., voiced his concern of sewers and septics. Town
attorney Tim Curren's speculation at this time would be the Town would request hook-
on. Mr. Henry asked if there was sewer availability close. Attorney Tim Currens said
yes, but it would be the Developer's expense to extend to the development and the Town
Council would control this. Mr. Henry said he had lived in the old area of Town and had
trouble with sewers when it rained. Mr. Currens told him the sewers in the older part of
Town had been repaired.

Allen Kirk, 4227 E. Allison Rd., stated that Allison Rd. was still a county road and at
what point does the county have input. Attorney Tim Currens replied any cut needs
county approval. Street Commissioner Joe Beikman told the audience the front section of
Allison Rd. to the end of Church property belonged to the Town of Mooresville.

Commissioner Williamson pointed out that in the past cement siding had been accepted
as masonary. He also stated that Allison Rd. was a narrow road and a lot of traffic would
be emptying out onto it from the connector road thru the development. The developers
said they were not committed to the connector road going all the way thru to Allison Rd.

The petitioners were told by the commission new notices needed to be sent Certified
using the 911 addresses and this filing would be tabled to the May 23, 2002 meeting.

Commission Chairman Mike Young stated he would like to ask Commissioner McGuire
if he would join and head up the Comprehensive Plan Committee. Motion was made by
Commissioner Bennett, second by Commissioner Bruner to add Commissioner McGuire
and make him the head of the Comprehensive Plan Committee. Motion carried 8-0. The
committee consists of: Chris Crouch, Jim Bruner, John Ehrhart, Mike Young, and
Charles McGuire.

Building Inspector Joe Beikman reported thirty-one (31) permits and ninety-six (96)
inspections.

There being no further business to come before the commission at this time, a motion was
made by Commissioner Bruner, second by Commissioner Crouch to adjourn the meeting.
Motion carried unanimously. The next meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission will
be on Thursday, May 23, 2002, at 7:00 P. M. at the Mooresvill Town all.

ATlEST:
