<br />1- <br /> <br />an increasing population of automobiles. Brown Township has a huge responsibility to <br />its current taxpayers to not over burden the system. She would ask that they would <br />seriously and carefully consider any vote they may have on this development. They wish <br />no ill will on the developer, but they are concerned on the impact this development will <br />have on the community. <br /> <br />Mr. Brad Hiller, 107 Meadowview Drive, was concerned about the number of homes per <br />acre and that due to State's Budget our taxes will have to be raised. With schools already <br />in the need to expand and Brown Township already paying a high tax rate, our tax rates <br />will have to rise to meet the demand. He would like to see Mooresville bring in <br />businesses and jobs, not in that field, but on the out side of town so the citizens of <br />Morgan County would have a place to work. <br /> <br />Mr. Ulrich Angiketon, 114 Oakview Dr., was concerned about traffic turning from <br />Hadley Road onto Johnson Road. The traffic is already heavy and with the development <br />of the subdivision it would only get worse. <br /> <br />Mrs. Vickie Lassiter, 4092 E. Hadley Road, asked what the Comprehensive Plan shows <br />for low-density is this area. Mr. Young replied that it was low-density. She asked how <br />many homes were allowed per acre. Mr. Young replied four. <br /> <br />Mr. Scott Benko, 114 Kingsview Drive, asked why Kingsview Dr., being the main artery <br />on the north side of Grandview, would be used for construction traffic. He has two <br />children and he is concerned about the traffic. He asked about fire protection with the <br />homes being only twelve feet apart. <br /> <br />Mr. Marty Mann, 101 Meadowview Drive, stated that at the comer of Meadowview and <br />Fountain Drive is a four way stop and no one stops there now, so who will patrol the area. <br /> <br />Mr. Chuck Peterick, 205 Creekview Circle, asked about the price of the homes being <br />built. His home is worth about $175,000.00 and if these sell for $80,000.00 that is about <br />half of the price of his. He asked what would happen to this project if the Board turned <br />down the proposed project. Then he asked how he could get on the Board. Mr. Currens <br />stated the Board was appointed by various groups, some by the Town Council as a whole, <br />by the Town Council President, for the buffer zone by the Circuit Court Judge and this is <br />all pursuant to the Indiana Law. He asked what would happen if the board said no to the <br />development and if the residents had a right to say no for the use of their streets. Mr. <br />Currens replied that the streets were dedicated to the Town and they have a right to make <br />a decision on the use. The board has several alternatives for making their decision. <br /> <br />Mr. Chris Downing, 204 Ridgeview Court, was opposed to the subdivision because of the <br />added traffic congestion. <br /> <br />Mrs. Robin Jennings, 106 Meadowview Dr., was concerned about the school over <br />crowding. The traffic does not stop for the stop signs. <br />
