<br />Mr. McGuire asks if Lot I was where the existing house was now and Mr. Hollowy said <br />the existing house was on up the road the to the west and slightly to the north. Both of <br />these lots are unapproved. Mr. Young asked if the behind the barn is now and Mr. <br />Hollowy said yes. Mr. McGuire asked if the barn was on the plat and Mr. Holloway said <br />no. Mr. Holloway said they were trying to get out of have a sixty-three acre let, but they <br />will either have to do that or come back and reapply with a different configuration. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Mr. McGuire, second by Mr. Crouch, to approve the two lot Minor <br />Plat, which will show Lot I with 5.045 acres and Lot 2 with 63 acres. Motion carried 8- <br />O. <br /> <br />Mr. Beikman reported 10 permits and 46 inspections. <br /> <br />Mr. Bruner stated that this was the last meeting for Mr. Pygman. Mr. Young asked that <br />Board give Mr. Pygman a round of applause. <br /> <br />Mr. McGuire said he would like to ask the Council a question. He watches the Plan <br />Commission and Board of Zoning meeting on cable and all those committee do their <br />voting by paper ballot. He feels with the size of Mooresville, it would be beneficial if the <br />board had a paper ballot system. Mr. Currens said the board could certainly do that, there <br />is not a restriction on that and it is really a matter of preference on different boards on <br />how they do that. He said what we ultimately look for is how we get the best possible <br />results. All the boards are fact sensitive and when we look at all the guides we have, our <br />master land use plan, our ordinances, and the BZA finding of fact. Those are what you <br />look to not how many people are for or against, wither they should get it, because what <br />you do will last from generation to generation. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Mr. Ehrhart, seconded by Mr. Bruner, to have paper ballots for <br />voting at the Plan Commission. Motion carried 8-0. <br /> <br />Next meeting for the Plan Commission will be January 23, 2003 at 6:00 P.M. at the <br />Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />
