He said Madison Township
did not have a ladder truck and he thought the whole project was a terrible idea.

Sherry Milan, Lot 4 North Madison Crossing, told the commission they had moved from
Cumberland and had made the move with a setting in mind because they had moved
away from surrounding apartments and now they were being told they were right back
where they were previously. They had spent two years making this move. Mark
Whitaker, 13037 N. Departure Boulevard, voiced the same issues. Cathy Schooley,
living directly across from the development asked what was planoed for the water
situation. Karen Bearn, 13137 Town Court, said the issues she had were the impact of
traffic flow and police protection. She answered
that housing was critical to a community and she thought there was a need for quality
condos, but she didn't have an opinion on this site. Commissioner Ehrhart said "We've
been looking for diversity, we have taken care of starter homes but this type of home is
needed also." A motion was made by Commissioner Crouch, second by Commissioner
Ehrhart to recommend the rezone to PUD-R to the Town Council, subject to hook on to
the Town of Mooresville sewers, anoexation, hydrant requirements from Madison
Township, permits from county for the street, and two car garages on all units. Motion
carried six for the rezone recommendation to the Town Council and two against. Lot I would be 5.046 acres and Lot 2 would be 14.954 acres. Mr. Holloway said
a driveway permit was not needed because they would be using the existing driveway off
of Bethel Road. He told the commission this was a revision to an approved plat that was
not signed. Commissioner McGuire told him he needed to show the barn on the plat. A
motion was made by Commissioner Bruner, second by Commissioner Crouch to approve
the revision of plat, subject to site evaluation and showing the existing barn. Motion
carried unanimously.

Ross Holloway presented a PUD amendment for Lot 4B, 4E, and 4H for Bartley,
Perkins,Tidd, and Perry- Fisher at Southbridge Crossing. He told the commission this
arnendment would not impact the NAPA building.
