did not include the unit on the left. The minor plat was approved with the understanding
that it would be corrected. However, the plat never got recorded. He was asking if the
Plan Commission would sign the plat so it could be recorded even though it was past the
time limit or would they have to refile. The building contains three levels and his client
also wants him to re-write the description and change the names of some of the lots.
Commissioner Bruner asked Tim Currens if it was a problem to sign the plat. Tim
Currens stated that the ordinance states the time limit and does not allow for exceptions.
He will have to refile.

The Commission asked Joe Beikman to check on a property at Brentwood and
Indianapolis Road that has several cars for sale out in the street. Joe will check but said if
the cars are licensed and in the street there may not be anything they can do.

Commissioner Bryant asked about Jamestown Condos and the retention pond being
deeper than it was supposed to be. Ross Holloway said there would be guardrails soon.
Commissioner Bryant also asked about the roofline on the buildings and whether they
were supposed to be the same pitch all the way around because the gables on the front
were lower. Joe Beikman said the gables weren't the same because of the windows. The
windows are different from the original drawing but the roof pitch is not.

The Commission discussed the rental equipment sitting along Bridge Street at Lowes and
how it does not look desirable. They believe that they specifically said any outside
storage was to be at the side of the building and not in front. Tim Currens stated that the
front was designated to be parking. Joe Beikman will see if there is a tape available of
the meeting when it was originally discussed to see what was said about outside storage.

Building Commissioner, Joe Beikman reported 86 inspections and 31 permits.

The next meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission will be on Thursday, June 24,
2004 at 7:00 P.M. at the Mooresville Town Hall.

There being no further business to come before the Plan Commission at this time, a
motion was made by Commissioner Bruner, second by Commissioner Corbin to adjourn
the meeting. Motion carried 7-0.

7b
\ /Ll aJ&L/
~cretary
/ '-----.-
/

Chairman
~-
"
~""'"

~-~_...
