S-27-1997 1~:!8~4 ~R~,~ PO MOORESVILLE 31783'16~B6 <br /> <br /> MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF lVlI/TROPOL1TAN POLICE COMMISSIONERS <br /> APRIL 1~, 199~' <br /> <br /> The Town of Moore~ville Board of Metrol~litan Police Commissioners met at its <br /> regularly scheduled meetin/: April 17, 1997 with Board Members Tom Warth~n, Dr. Richard <br /> $ou/~hers ~nd Dr. Dennis Knierim bein~ present aloni with the Board's counsel, Timothy C. <br /> Curie. ns. The meetin~ was called to order bi' Tom Wanhen, The Board proceeded to the <br /> Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br /> The Board approved the minut~s of the prior m~ting. <br /> <br /> Unch~r Old Business, Chief Vile,$ advised that the physical examinations of the officers <br /> lay Dr. Eric W~imer had been ~mpiet~ but the reaults were not finalized. Chief Viles said that <br /> the next step would be to have the local Pension Board review the, se and sign off on these before <br /> submittin$ these t~ th~ PF. IIF Board. He also advised that the Alarm Ordinance pamphlets had <br /> been draflext. Chid Viles also advised the Board about the testing being done regarding the <br /> Mring of new officers through the Institat~ for Public Saf~ Pe, r$onne, I, Inc., an independent <br /> testing ~mpany. He further advised that $ixt~'n (16) of the original thirty-two (32) applicants <br /> would come back for the agility testin$ which would be done by Officer Forbes at the High <br /> School track. Chief ¥iles also handed out the initial drafts for Standard Operating Procedures <br /> and Rut~ and Rr, gulationa for the Department for the Commissioners to review, <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting waa adjourned. <br /> <br /> Dermis W.
