Chief Viles questioned if it is the Police Department's <br />responsibility to address the Towns long standing refuse <br />problems in residental areas, or if they should go through <br />the Zoning Board or Town Court. Tim Currens advised tha~ <br /> <br />violations would go through Town Court, and that letters <br />can, and have been sen~ from the Clerk Treasures Office. The <br />goal being compliance, not fines. <br /> <br /> John Burnside brought up ~he Five Ton Limit on N. Indiana <br /> <br />St. ordinance. He feels there are many trucks going up <br /> <br /> Indiana S~. to get to SR 267. Viles advised he has been wait- <br /> lng to hear from the Town Council before writing tickets on <br /> that, there being some questions on whether signs need to be <br /> <br /> posted on tha~ stree~ ancl other s~ceets tha~ have a tonage <br /> ordinance. <br /> <br /> There being no other' business to come before the boa,-ct. <br /> Tom Warthen made motion and was seconded by John Burnside <br /> <br /> to adjou~'n the meeting. <br /> <br /> Dennis ~ Kn~et <br /> Thomas .X.
