<br />c <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF METROPOLITAN POLICE COMMISSIONERS <br />OCT 19, 2000 <br /> <br />The Town of Mooresville Board of Police commissioners met October J 9, 2000 with <br /> <br />Board members Dr. Dennis Knierim, Dean Kays and Charles Berwick present. The meeting was <br /> <br />Called to order by Dr. Dennis Knierim. <br /> <br />Under old Business, Chief Viles advised that all testing procedures and background interviews <br /> <br />Have been completedfor the hiring list. He requested an Executive Session be scheduledfor the <br /> <br />Discussion of the backgrounds and review of personnel. The Executive Session was set for <br /> <br />November J 6, 2000 after the regular monthly meeting. <br /> <br />Chief Viles advised that the Halloween Hike will befrom 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, <br /> <br />October 3 r' at the Park. <br /> <br />Under New Business, Chief Viles advised that the Police Department along with the High <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />School Student Advisory Committee will sponser a Women's Safety Program from 9:00 am to <br /> <br />12:00 pm on November J 1, 2000 at the High School. Guest Speakers will address Domestic <br /> <br />Violence, Date Rape and Personal Protection.
