<br />c <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF METROPOLITAN POLICE COMMISSIONERS <br />SEPTEMBER 21, 2000 <br /> <br />The Town of Mooresville Board of Police Commissioners met September 21, 2000 with <br /> <br />Board Members Dr. Dennis Knierim, Dean KayS, Charles Berwick ad Legal Council <br /> <br />Timothy Currens present. The meeting was called to order by Dr. Dennis Knierim. <br /> <br />Dean Kays made motion and was seconded by Charles Berwick to approve the <br /> <br />Minutes of the last meeting. <br /> <br />Under Old Business, Chief Viles gave an update on the hiring list procedure. Two <br /> <br />Phases are now complete, and in house interviews are set up for October 7, 2000. Names <br /> <br />Will be submitted to the Commissioners at the October meeting. <br /> <br />Chief Viles thanked the Council and Tim Currens for getting the Curfew Ordinance put <br /> <br />Together and passed so quickly. <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />Chief Viles stated that he hadfour OfJicers detailed to the parkfor the Civil War <br /> <br />Re-enactment, and there were no incidents to report. <br /> <br />Chief Viles advised that the department will have a booth at the park for the Halloween <br /> <br />Hike and welcomed any volunteers to help pass out candy. <br /> <br />Dennis Knierim stated that the Commissioners were pleased with the Town Councils <br /> <br />Budget approval. <br /> <br />Dean Kays made motion and was seconded by Charles Berwick to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />D9?~J~ <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />{)~ K~ <br /> <br />Dean Kays <br /> <br /> <br />
