MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF METROPOLITAN POLICE <br /> COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> APRIL 18, 2002 <br /> <br /> Dr. Knierim welcomed everyone to the April 18tu Mooresville Police Commissioners <br /> meeting. In attendance were, Chief Tim Viles, Attorney Tim Currens, and <br /> Commissioner's Chuck Berwick and Devnis Knierim. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Berwick motioned to approve the minutes from the last meeting. Dr. <br /> Knierim seconded. <br /> Chief Viles discussed the 3 vehicles le~ and possibly auctioning them. He mentioned <br /> putting a minimum price on the cars of $8,500,$9000. <br /> <br /> Sgt. Forbes had a continuation until May 12, 2002. <br /> <br /> The Voice Writer was also discussed. <br /> <br /> Under New Business; <br />C The S.O.P.'s reviewed for this month's meeting were; <br /> 8.07 5.A.2-change from 6 months to 12 months <br /> 8.09-ok <br /> 9.0-some changes were made. <br /> 9.01 I-a deletion was made <br /> <br /> Chief Viles suggested a sign off sheet for future meetings regarding S.O.P.'s. <br /> 9.06-Lock out procedure-Currens suggested that thc officers (when unlocking a vehicle in <br /> an emergency situation), with their recorder on, make the statement that there may be <br /> damage to the vehicle, and after knowing this, do you still want me to proceed. <br /> <br /> 9.05,9.07,9.09,9.10 will be discussed at the next meefinD <br /> <br /> The next meeting will be MaY 23~ at 7pm' <br /> <br /> Dem~nierim <br /> <br />C /.m// <br /> Chuck Berwick <br /> <br /> <br />
