Commissioner Brown was concerned that there was nothing for children to do and even
though it is not marketed that way, you cannot prevent people with children from moving
in. He was also concerned with there not being enough room for firetrucks to move
around and the possibility of the buildings collapsing into the street with only fifty feet of
parking area between them. Mr. Holloway will take the concerns of the Commission into
consideration before the next meeting. A gentleman in the audience stated that he had
spoken to several of the neighbors who said they wanted to be present at the meeting but
couldn't be since the notices had the wrong date.

A motion to continue to the August meeting was made by Commissioner Berwick,
second by Commissioner Bryant. Motion carried 8-0.

The fourth item on the agenda was Holloway Engineering for Sonny Perry, requesting a
replat of Lots 14 & 15 of Trogden Addition. Mr. Holloway stated that the lots sit at the
comer of Indianapolis Road and Washington Street. The current plat shows the lots
running North and South. Mr. Perry does not want to change the size of the lots, only
change the configuration of the lots to run East and West instead, which is the way the
houses are facing. This would allow for an accessory building to be built behind the
houses if need be. Mr. Holloway stated that he could add a set-back line, but requested it
be at the face of the existing houses instead of the usual forty feet.

A motion to approve the re-plat of Lots 14 & 15 of Trogden Addition as presented was
made by Commissioner Brown, second by Commissioner Bryant. Motion carried 8-0.

The next item was Holloway Engineering, representing Hopkins, for the final plat
approval for Village of Eastmore. Mr. Holloway stated that they got final plat approval
once before but needed to adjust some building lines to be in compliance with what the
Plan Commission approved. Joe Beikman, Building Commissioner, advised him to come
before the Commission again to get approval on the changes. Most of the lots affected
are on Paul Revere Drive and Iron Hill Lane but there may be a few other locations. The
issue is that the original plan stated that on a comer lot the setback on the side of the
building on the street could be ten feet. But, because of the twenty feet utility easement,
the comer lots cannot have a ten feet side building line; they will be twenty feet instead.
The front setback will remain at twenty-five feet.

A motion to approve the new setbacks for Villages of Eastmore was made by
Commissioner Ehrhart, second by Commissioner McGuire. Motion carried 8-0.

Next was Holloway Engineering, representing Swinney Development, Inc. for a replat of
Lots 17, 18 and 19 of North Madison Crossing. These lots are currently approximately
15,000 square feet each. Mr. Swinney thought that spreading the lots out and making
them larger would make them more marketable. They are proposing to remove Lot 18
altogether, making Lot 17R approximately 19,775 square feet and Lot 19R approximately
17,938 square feet. They have also added a note on the plat describing the changes.
