February 26. 1998, at 7:00 <br />P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Conunission members present were: President Joel Beebe. Vern Khnmel. Bill Abbott. Steve <br />Campbell, Jolm Elu'hart, *like Young. Tim Bennett. Charles McGuh'e, and Andy P3zmnan No <br />members were absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Conmtissioner Kinnnel, second by Conunissioner l:'3'~nan to approve the <br />minutes of the January 26. 1998 meeting. Motion carded 9-0. <br /> <br />First on tile agenda. Ross Hollowav of Hollowav & Associates presented the rezone from R-I to <br />R-2 at 134 East .llain Street across fi'om C,'vstal Flash. The request was made for a bye family <br />dwelling to be built on the site. This is a ~.'_, lot. 40 !~_, feet wide from \lain Street to the alley. <br />Each unit would be 2 bedroom, xinyl siding, and would have 748 square feet to each unit. <br />Cmmnissioner Ehrhart asked if the side entrance could be moved to the front of the building. The <br />owners said ,,'es. Ihere would be parking spaces in the back. After much discussion, motion was <br />made by Commissioner :llcGuire. second by Commissioner Ehrhart to recommend to the Town <br />Council to den,,' the request for re-zoning..llotion carried 8-1 with Cmmnissioner Abbott <br />opposed. *h'. Ross Holloway presented the request of Jim Remster. 601 Indianapolis Road. for a 4 Lot <br />X Iinor Plat. Tlfis request is for tbur lots on m,'o acres. Also. a request for sewer hook-on and <br />annexation into the Town. This property would need to be rezoned Ii'om A~m4cultur¢ to R-lB. <br />.Xiotion was made by Commissioner Abbott. second bv Co~mnissioner Campbell to not consider <br />the Minor Plat until re-zoning action was taken. Motion carried 9-0. <br /> <br />Next on the agenda.
