MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 1999, 7:00 P. M. <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday, February 25, 1999, at 7:00 P. M. at the <br />Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Plan Commission members present were: Joel Beebe, Tim Bennett, Alan Marshall, Charles <br />McGuire, John Ehrhart, Mike Young, and Town Attorney Tim Currens. Andy Pygrnan, Veto <br />Kimmel, and Bill Abbott were absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner McGuire, second by Commissioner Marshall to approve <br />January 22, 1999 minutes including the striking of the second word Commissioner at the bottom <br />of the first page. Motion carded 6-0. <br /> <br />Motion was-made-by Commissioner Beebe, seeomt by-Commissioner Ehrhart to appoint Mike <br />Young as a temporary replacement for Bill Abbott on the Technical Review Committee. <br /> <br /> A continuance was granted for the Dunbar rezone for property on Carlisle Street. <br /> <br /> Alan Kramer represented Donny Noel, two lot minor plat on Keller Hill Road tabled from the <br /> January meeting. The Tech Committee reviewed and needed the new address of the lot. Motion <br /> was made by Commissioner Young, second by Commissioner Ehrhart to approve plat as <br /> submitted. Motion carried 5-1 with Commissioner McGuire opposed. <br /> <br /> Next, Holloway & Assoc represented Hopkins request for rezone of 11 acres next to <br /> Knightsbridge from Agfic. to PUD-R. This was tabled from the January meeting. The concern <br /> at last meeting was the only access being Rosewood Lane. This is still true, but now Rosewood <br /> Lane would be a Cul-De-Sac. There was a discussion over covenants adopted for Roberson <br /> Woods in 1992 and if there had been amendments allowed in 1994. Peter Bohm, Chairman of <br /> the Roberson Woods Assoc. requested the issue to be tabled again. Commissioner McGuire <br /> stated he thought they had ample time to prepare. Motion was made by Commissioner McGuire, <br /> second by Commissioner Ehrhart to deny the request for continuance. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner McGuire, second by Commissioner Marshall to recommend <br /> to the Mooresville Town Council to rezone this 11 acres to PUD-R. Motion carded 6-0. <br /> This will come before the March 2nd Town Council meeting at 6:30 P. M. <br /> <br /> Holloway & Assoc. presented Preliminary Plat Approval for Wolfe/Anderson at the comer of <br /> Rooker Rd and DayhuffRd. In June of 1997 this property was rezoned Agfic. to R1A and <br /> consisted of 174.221 acres. C & M Utility has stated they can provide the sanitary and Hill <br /> Water Co. stated they can provide the water. There would be 275 lots, the lots to be 16,000 <br /> square feet or more, curbs, gutters, paved roads, sidewalks, and an entrance with 24 foot median <br /> <br /> <br />
