make a public presentation of the amendments at a duly advertised public hearing. This public hearing shall be scheduled by the Economic Development Director in accordance w/th the wishes of the Town. The Consultant shall be entitled to compensation under the Additional Services section of this contract for making any additional presentations of the material at additional or continued public hearings or attendance at such hearings. 4. The Consultant shall make a brief summary presentation of the material developed under this scope of services to the Town Council at a regular public meeting of the Town Council. Any additional attendance or presentations at Town Council meetings shall be compensated under the Additional Services section of this contract. 5. This altemate scope of services is approved in its totality by the Owner, to be executed expeditiously and efficiently according to the sole discretion of the Consultant. If the project is terminated for any reason, the Consultant is entitled to the full amount of the lump sum fee. 6. The Consultant shall be entitled to compensation under the Additional Services section of this contract for any time spent in relation to any legal action taken on the project, or related to this scope of services. 7. The Owner shall be responsible for scheduling and advertising all meetings of any agency or body related to the scope of services of this contract.. 8. The lump sum amount of this altemative compensation method shall be $10,000, payable on a monthly basis based on the Consultant's estimate of the percent of completion of the project.
