Council agreed this was o k. <br /> <br /> Joe Beikman, Street Superintendent, asked the Council to consider weight limits on truck traffic <br /> going from Main Street to Clay Street to Madison Street. Council asked Joc to research this. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councihna,~ Clark to approve cxtending <br /> Molex Form SB-1 a year. Motion carried 5-0. r--.----- <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported thirty-six (36) calls, ten (10) i~npounds, and six (,6) <br /> returned. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Warthen, second by Councihnan Dolcn to approve the <br /> Gravedigger's contract. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Pygman, second by Councihnan Dolen to approve payinent of <br /> the claims. Motion carded 5-0. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Town Council at this time, ,notion was made <br /> by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to adjourn. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> ~dent~ <br /> <br /> June 1, 1999 <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, June 1, 1999, at 6:30 P.M. at <br /> the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were: President Mark Mathis, Toby Dolen, John L. Clark, Tom <br /> Warthen, and Andy Pygman. Town Attorney Tim Currens was also present. No Council <br /> members were absent <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Clark, second by Councilman Dolen, to approve the minutes <br /> of the previous meeting, May 4, 1999. Motion carded 5-0. <br /> <br /> Vickie McGawan, a resident at 308 East Carlisle Street, presented a request for sidewalks along <br /> East Carlisle Street between Maple Lane and Indianapolis Road. Her concern is for safety of <br /> the children who have to walk to school and for families who walk on the street. The Council <br /> said the budget was set for this year and that they would address the request in the Spring of <br /> 2000. <br /> <br /> This was a Public Hearing for the rezone for property owned by Miller's Merry Manor from B3 <br /> General Business) to R3 (Multiple Family ). <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark, to approve the rezone of <br /> the property for Miller's Merry Manor from B3 to R3 with a convent with the restriction that the <br /> property, would be used only for housing for assisted living, Motion carded 5-0. <br /> <br /> <br />
