M. at the Moorcsville <br /> Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Council members present were: President Mark Mathis, Toby l)olcn, John L. Clark, Tom <br /> Warthen, and Andy Pygman. Toxvn attorney Tim Currcns was present. No council members <br /> were absent. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councihnan Clark, second by Councilman Dolcn to approve minutes of <br /> April 4, 2000. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> First on the agenda, south street sanitary line project, thc Council members were not quite <br /> prepared as of yet to discuss, so this item will be on the agenda tbr May 2, 2000. <br /> <br /> President Mathis reported to tim Council tile earl)' warning s)'stcm was on agcnda tbr <br /> Ambassador Club at Power & Light Co. for possible financial help concerning installation etc. <br /> President Mathis will report back to Council atter this meeting This item will be put on the <br /> agenda for May 2, 2000. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councihnan Dolcn, second by Councilman Warthen to approve Ordinance <br /> 3, 2000, Reserve Police Program Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councihnan Warthen, second by Councilman Dolen to approve First <br /> Reading of Ordinance//4, 2000, noise ordinance. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer report: nineteen (19) calls, four (4) impounds and two (2) returned. <br /> <br /> Councilman Pygman asked if Riverside Stone Company would have a settling pond and if they ~ <br /> would pump it out regularly. EDC Director Harold Gutzwillcr told the Council the company <br /> would have a settling pond at their new location in Flagstatt' Industrial Park and they would be <br /> doing their own pmnping out on a regular basis. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councihnan Clark, second by Councihnan Warthcn to approve payment of <br /> claims.
